I do not believe in mass production and consider each piece unique and an individual item of art.

 

The technique of sgraffito that I use to create images on my work is done by applying a layer of slip to the item on which I then carve an image, much like the technique used in woodblock printing.

 

Functional items are safe to use in the microwave oven and the dishwasher.
